Request for Qualifications, and Bid Proposal
The City of Garfield Arkansas, located in the Northwest corner of Benton County Arkansas, contracts for disposal of solid waste and other refuse.
The city’s existing solid waste disposal contract expires December 31, 2024. The city is soliciting bids from qualified solid waste disposal entities, to provide service for approximately three hundred and fifty (350) residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
Interested entities must be qualified solid waste providers, as defined by Arkansas Code, Title 8 Environmental Law. The following list of activities represents the minimum level of service acceptable.
- Residential collection: once per week collection for 96-gallon carts.
- Additional 96-gallon carts, at customers request, for an additional charge,
- One clean-up per year, four (4) 40-yard containers.
- Roll-off service for commercial and residential customers.
Interested entities should provide a written proposal, including the following scope of work.
- A plan and timeline for transition, including the delivery of carts and other collection equipment.
- A detailed rate schedule.
- Proof of Insurance.
