The full roster of four members on the City Council in Garfield, Arkansas, was filled on February 12, 2019, at the Council’s regular monthly meeting. Scott Wassman was elected by the City Council to fill the open Ward Two, Position One. Council Member Wassman will represent Ward Two for the remainder of the Council’s current two-year term, i.e., through 2019 and all of 2020. A second new member of the Garfield City Council is Council Member David Edwards. He ran for Ward One, Position Two, without opposition, in November 2018 and began his service on the City Council in January 2019. Council Member James Teeselink won his bid for re-election, and Council Member Barry Kitterman ran without opposition, in the November election.
