The 2018 Midterm Election culminated on November 6, 2018. Municipal government positions in Garfield, Arkansas, under consideration by the voters in the Midterm Election were those of Mayor and Alderman for Ward 2, Position 2.
The election results, as reported by the Arkansas Secretary of State Mike Martin, indicate that Gary Blackburn has been elected for another 4-year term as Mayor of Garfield, with 61.43% of the total votes cast, and James Teeselink has been elected for another 2-year term as Alderman for Ward 2, Position 2, with 72.34% of the total votes cast. Other candidates in the mayoral race were Katherine Shook, who received 36.43%, and Dale King, who received 2.14% of the total votes. Ellen King also ran for City Council Position 2 in Ward 2 and received 27.66% of the total votes.
