Attention walking and biking enthusiasts in the Garfield community!
The Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission (NWARPC), under its Walk Bike Northwest Arkansas regional initiative, has prepared a proposal for a pedestrian and bicycle trail in Garfield.
Elizabeth Bowen, NWARPC Project Manager, presented the Garfield Walk/Bike Action Plan on April 17, 2018, during a Garfield Planning Commission public forum, held at City Hall.
The next opportunity for the public to provide input about the proposed exercise trail plan for the City of Garfield will be on May 15 at the monthly meeting of the Garfield City Council, beginning at 6:00 PM at City Hall. The City Council will decide on whether to accept, modify, or reject the NWARPC’s Garfield Walk/Bike Action Plan.
